Councilor George Bedard
from the City of Ottawa presents Lt Jason Demaine as this years

of Ottawa attending summer training and returning to the unit in
the fall. While completing High School and College in Ottawa, Jason

and events. In the August of 1997, Jason enrolled in the 1st Battalion
1 P.P.C.L.I in Edmonton, Alberta. After competing three years, Jason
transferred to 3 Intelligence Company in Halifax, Nova Scotia in
order to attend St. Mary's University. Commissioning in 2002 Jason
returned to Ottawa and at the same time transferred to the Cameron's
as an Infantry Officer.

homeless shelters and food banks in the city. The most notable being
the Union Mission for Men where he has been since 2002. Presently
Lt. Demaine works as the CH of O recruiting O and is awaiting a
