LCol Boyd Aitken is Stepping Down as Commanding Officer

OTTAWA, August, 2010 - There will be a change of command parade on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Drill Hall. LCol Aitken will be stepping down after three years commanding the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa. He will be handing over command of The Regiment to Maj Dave Kelly who comes to us from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders.

Under LCol Aitken command we have seen The Regiment grow to one of the largest reserve units in Canada. As Commanding Officer he has deployed over 80 Camerons to Afghanistan.

All Association members, friends, family are welcome. Ceremony begins at 1600 hrs.
