Two Van Doos turn in their Beret for the Balmoral

OTTAWA, March 10, 2005 - During the Cameron's monthly CO's parade, Sgt Alie and WO Plante were presented with their Certificate of Service.

WO Plante served with the Royal 22ième Régiment for 21 years and on February 24, 2005 he turned in his Beaver cap badge for St Andrews and a blue hackle. WO Plante is currently on a Class B as the Unit Operations Warrant Officer.

Sgt Alie served 20 years with the Van Doo's and on December 11, 2004 he turned in his dress pants for the Cameron of Erracht Kilt. Sgt Alie served in Germany and served on three tours in the former Yugoslavia. Sgt Alie is currently on Class B as the Recruiting NCO for the Cameron Highlanders.
